Cannon has been sleeping in his crib in his room for the last 3 or 4 nights. It was so hard for me to be ready to move him. He has been in his cradle since we came home. Not even a foot away from our bed. And I had said several times I was going to move him. A couple of times I said I was going to when my parents were here visiting. That way someone would be close. But I never did it. Well, this past week my mom has been visiting. Cannon and I have loved having Granmomma here. It was hard to let her leave today. (But we will all be at Garner State Park in less than 24 hrs.)
So while Mom was here I put him in his bed. The first night was really hard, mostly because I had the video monitor on all night, and it was too bright and too loud. Trey and I got NO sleep. The next night was better, and the one after that even better. So we are surviving. I know it was a lot harder on me than Cannon. I don't think he even knows the deference. So glad!
We are heading to Garner very soon!
I am so excited for Cannon's 1st camping trip. This will be his start to our family's traditional summer vacation. We'll be out until at least Friday....but I'll get pictures ASAP when I get back.
With love,
Ali

Good for you, Mom! That stuff is HARD... so hard to let them grow up, regardless of age! :)
Glad you're having fun camping... looking forward to new pics! :)
